Jason Rivera, PhD, is the Vice President of Program Evaluation & Research at College Track, headquartered in Oakland, CA. A southern California native who now lives with his family in the DC-area, Jason is committed to the strategic use of data to identify, understand, and neutralize systemic barriers in education for first-generation populations.
Jason previously served as Director of Strategic Research at the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and built his career leading institutional research initiatives at liberal arts institutions throughout the country including Williams College, Dickinson College, Pitzer College, and the University of Bridgeport. A first-generation scholar himself, Jason earned his BA from Pitzer College in Psychology and Organizational Studies. He earned a MA in Psychology and PhD in Education from Claremont Graduate University.
