James Tracy is a long-time housing and anti-poverty organizer. He is the co-founder of the Eviction Defense Network and the Community Land Trust. His most recent book, Dispatches from Displacement: Field Notes from San Francisco’s Housing Wars, covers the past 35 years of collective organizing in San Francisco.
