Enrico Moretti has been studying the economics of cities for 15 years. He holds the Michael Peevey and Donald Vial Chair in Labor Economics at UC Berkeley. His book, The New Geography of Jobs, was awarded the 2012 William Bowen Prize by Princeton University for the most important contribution toward understanding public policy related to industrial relations and the operation of the labor markets.
