Jocelyn Mati

Jocelyn is a young, Samoan woman from San Francisco - Bayview Hunters Point.  She is a Community Organizer and a Youth-led Participatory Action Researcher (YPAR) with the Young Women's Freedom Center, an organization that is transforming the systems that keep young women stuck in cycles of poverty, violence, and incarceration. She is passionate about speaking out for her own liberation and the liberation of other communities of color.
