First jobs are critical to helping 16-to-24 year-olds transition from childhood to adulthood. Opportunity youth struggle to get and succeed at first jobs, because of backgrounds of homelessness, foster care, justice system involvement and poverty. Over the next two years, New Door will create 600 first-jobs for opportunity youth and provide the personal support and training they need to succeed.
