Glenn Close is a six-time Academy Award nominated actress. She most recently received
Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for her Damages television series on FX. In 2009, Close participated in the launch of Bring Change 2 Mind, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to confronting the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness. She created the organization together with the Balanced Mind Foundation, Fountain House and the International Mental Health Research Organization.
