In partnership with the City of San Francisco and a network of service providers, Larkin Street will scale housing, education, employment and health services to meet the needs of an additional 500 youth over the next three years and prevent homelessness for another 450 youth. This will save lives today as well as ultimately reduce chronic homelessness in San Francisco.

Our Housing Platform builds political will and leverages investments needed to end homelessness in SF. Two myths inhibit CA’s effort to end homelessness: our housing markets are too exclusive for poor people, and people who are homeless aren’t ready for housing. Armed with the right tools, we’ve dispelled such myths, securing thousands of units in the hottest markets.

Women who have overcome adversity are uniquely poised to help other women overcome similar hardship. By training former clients to become Community Health Workers, HPP recognizes the importance of sustainable career pathways for low-income mothers, the value of lived-experience in social work, and numerous benefits of women from the community serving as leaders in the community.

Create a San Francisco where no veteran must go homeless for more than 90 days. This project will provide key support to help us achieve this vision, particularly for homeless veterans facing the biggest challenges, including long-term chronic homelessness, mental health and other disabling conditions.

Our programs support families in crisis, allow for innovations in best practice and target the key policy challenges to truly solve the crisis of family homelessness in our community.
