Mikayla Lynch

The Story - When Mikayla first walked into the HYPE Center in early 2025,

she wasn't looking for a leadership role—she was looking for a refuge.

Amidst a season of chaos and instability, the center became her sanctuary.

For a while, she kept to herself, but the pull of the community eventually

outweighed the comfort of the shadows. Joining the Youth Advisory Board

became her "way in," transforming her from a quiet observer into an active

participant in something bigger than herself.

The Vision - As a member of Youth Feedback and Service Partnerships,

Mikayla is dedicated to the power of the pivot. She understands that while

life can be heavy, the board meetings are a sacred time to focus on growth

and collective success. She brings a positive demeanor and a heart for

service, ensuring that every member feels the same support she eventually

found. Her mission is to help refine the programs that once felt out of

reach for her, making them accessible and inviting for the next person

seeking a place to land.

Beyond the Board - Outside of her advocacy work, Mikayla finds her voice

in a different way: through the mic. In her free time, she is a passionate

musician who loves recording music—turning her personal reflections

into art.
