Model and Strategy
The No Entry and Re Entry Restorative Initiative (NERERI) prevents first-time offending by students through school-based restorative practices that create pathways to opportunity instead of pipelines to prison. For formerly-incarcerated youth, it prevents re-arrest through a “village-based” restorative re-entry model. The Initiative also promotes public policy shifts through advocacy, education, and training.
