Battery Powered Awards $1.29M to Gun Safety

Battery Powered Awards $1.29M to Gun Safety

In the wake of two of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history, Battery Powered awarded $1.29 million to elevate gun safety to a public health issue and save lives.

From interrupting the cycle of violence in urban communities to changing policy these organizations are proving that gun violence is a solvable problem.  They each exemplify the call that former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords made to us at Organization Night: "Be bold, be courageous".
